The Adult 55+ Ministry of First Baptist Bryan includes activities for fun, social involvement, mission opportunities, Bible study, and mentoring.

Purpose?

The Adult 55+ Ministry exists to:

Deepen the understanding of the Christian's faith and dedication on the part of our senior adults
Develop the talents and spiritual insights of the seniors
Encourage and develop rich, meaningful fellowship in and through our senior adults
Help senior adults magnify and strengthen the church
Help senior adults to continue and assume their place of usefulness and leadership in the community

Our Goal?

Our goal is to channel and utilize the talents and energy of senior adults at this stage of their lives. First Baptist Bryan desires for senior adults to lead in planning, in working, in the sharing, the fellowship, and witnessing of the good life in Christ Jesus.

At First Baptist Church of Bryan, senior adults are considered persons of worth and value. In fact, we consider age to be a gift from the Creator. As a church, we acknowledge that many of the privileges and conveniences we enjoy today were made possible because of the leadership, service, and sacrificial giving of those who are senior adults.

First Baptist Church of Bryan believes that senior adults have much to give and much to receive. Because of this belief, First Baptist Bryan in attempting to develop a ministry with Senior Adults, by Senior Adults, and for Senior Adults to help our church meet the challenges facing this age group Christian in the 21st century.
