God is doing an amazing work in Zimbabwe of which He is calling FBC Bryan to a part.  Since returning from Zimbabwe in early April we have been in contact with Gregg and Donna Fort about the potential to return and continue building on the church planting movement going on in the Mberegwa Resettlement area of Central Zimbabwe.  There have been people raised from the dead, healings, and hundreds of people coming to Christ and gathering as THE CHURCH.  This is one of those situations where “The Fields are Ripe for Harvest, and the workers are few.”  FBC Bryan is looking to respond to the Call for Workers in this area of Zimbabwe. We are trying to put together a team of 6-10 people who would be willing to respond to this call and go share the Hope of Christ with the people of Zimbabwe.

Preparation: Wewill meet at least twice to train for this experience.  We need you to prepare three testimonies.  First, prepare a testimony regarding your family, interests, career, and life.  Second, you need to prepare a testimony of how God has worked in your life.  Not from Rags to Riches, but from despair to hope & Peace.  Third, prepare yourself with the ability to share the gospel.  We will train you in all three of these areas.

FAQs:

 Will I need Shots?

*Only if you want them.  It is winter/ early spring and it is dry so mosquitoes are rare. Some people have taken meds others have not.

Do I need aVisa?

*Yes, but you purchase a visa for $30 once you arrive in Zimbabwe

What are the Accommodations??

*Layover in South Africa: Hotel style accomdations

In Zimbawe: We will be staying on the floor of a concrete building.  Showers will be Bush Showers. Restrooms are vault toilets.

AntelopePark: Hotel Style

Will I be able to eat the Food?

*Yes, we will bring a guide who will prepare very good meals.

What about water?

*We will arrange for potable water.  We have never had problems with water in the past.

What about language Barriers?

*We will have Zimbabwe national pastors there to translate and do follow up once we leave.
